Our veal. born, raised & processed on farm is a unique premium product. Their feed is fresh off the cow organic raw Mother's milk. Our veal eats the way calves should, nursing off their Moms. From May to November all livestock are pastured. They spend the cold months inside the barn where the extreme weather is kept at bay.
Pastured, Mother's milk fed veal is a product quite distinct from commercial raised veal. Our veal is firm, not flabby, with a very full flavor profile and aroma. We have brought the tradition of raising Mother's milk fed veal back. And, the animals are raised ethically and just. You need not worry about how your veal was raised. Any errors from generations past have been removed from our veal operation. The result is happy, healthy veal that live a good life.
Our veal indeed has a high flavor profile. But, there is also something unique to food grown and raised well and that is what we here at Gaia's Breath Farm call a clean taste. Meaning there are no aftertastes that interfere with the flavor profile of the meat. It is a "clean" taste that once you try our meats will become apparent on the first bite.
Our telos or goal is to produce the highest quality products possible. Our farm is certified biodynamic producing certified biodynamic vegetables & organic meats. Our farm is in constant growth & development to attain the levels self-sufficiency & holistic farming as intended by the progenitor of Biodynamics, Rudolph Steiner.
